محدوده ی بیولوژیک تست ProCalcitonin  به شرح زیر می باشد :

<0.09 (99th percentile): Normal
<0.5 : low risk of severe sepsis and/or septic shock
0.5-2.0 : should be interpreted taking patient
>2.0 : high risk of severe sepsis and/or septic shock
